Clothing Collections Support so much:
Part of the clothing being collected is distributed to needy families through The Clothing and More ShareHouse at 9 Romaine Avenue in Yonkers, free clothing, household Items and other daily necessities are given to families, often based on referrals from help organizations and municipal agencies, such as Westchester Department of Social Services, Sharing Communities, Family First, and others. All remaining goods are sold to raise funds to enhance and support charitable non-profit programs and services. I Love Our Youth Inc., is devoted to uplift young people and strives to provide good role models, positive and challenging youth activities, and a mechanism for strengthening communities. Big Brother Big Sisters of Rockland, in New York help existing families in their programs, as well as expand mentoring services to reach out to more families and children in need in the region.
